About Dots & Digits Number Board
Seven bright red wooden segments slot onto the pegs of a solid timber board to make every digit from 0 to 9, just like a digital clock. Children copy the shape from the digit side of a card, build it with their hands, then count the kiwi to connect the numeral with its quantity.
Flip the card over and the dot-to-dot side shows the same number and its word in dots, so children can trace the shape with a finger before writing it. It is an affordable way to put a tactile maths resource on every table in a new entrant classroom, and each set comes in a hand-made box upcycled from used cardboard.
